Named after the long-time, recently retired communications director for the IAM, the Robert J. Kalaski Award recognizes distinguished and effective communication efforts promoting the mission of the labor movement. The winner of the Kalaski Award for 2001 is the Canadian Communications Director for the IAM, Neville Hamilton.
