Fire in New Mexico
IAM member Brian Stearns (wearing a red hard hat) and other members of the HMF#1 crew build a fireline in the Pecos Wilderness of the Santa Fe National Forest during the June 2002 Trampas Fire in New Mexico. The HMF#1 crew consisted largely of employees from the Huron-Manistee National Forests in Michigan.
